Aliens & Extraterrestrials are Coming - Thursday June 20th

Free Program presented by former Central Kansas Library Consultant Chris Rippel.
All ages are welcome (Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver age 14+).


Informative Program on Exoplanets

A program for adults, teens and older school age children.

Former Central Kansas Library Consultant, Chris Rippel will present an educational program on the search for planets outside of our universe (exoplanets). He will demonstrate how to use the web-site Zooniverse to use real data from the TESS space telescope to find more planets.

Finding planets around other stars is the first step in finding planets with life.

After the presentation, you will be able to use any internet-linked computer to look for more planets yourself.

Glow in the Dark Party - Saturday, June 15th

Change of Date - Library Board Meeting

The board meeting of the Library Board of Directors has been changed to Wednesday, June 15th at 5:15 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room. All meetings are open to the public.

Wednesday Morning Storytimes for Birth-Kindergarten

Wednesday morning storytimes will be held in June and July
at 10:00 in the Library basement.
Storytime is geared for ages birth-kindergarten, older siblings are welcome.
