New Children’s Librarian

We would like to introduce you to Crystal Wanker, the new Children’s Librarian at Lincoln Carnegie Library. Lynette Gross retired mid-November after 5 years of service.

Crystal moved to Lincoln two years ago and enjoys being part of the small-town community. “I’m looking forward to getting to know the people of Lincoln better, especially the children. There isn’t a better feeling than helping a young person develop a love for reading. Books really can take you anywhere.”

Crystal lives in Lincoln with her husband, Troy, who works at Walker Grain, and Sarge, her Chihuahua puppy.

Story time will continue to be held on Wednesdays at 10am. Come on by and say “hi”.
